The best way to encourage children to eat microgreens is to help them grow their own, then choose the recipes that they would like to try their mini crops in. Be creative, and let them experiment with adding microgreens to their favorite foods. For those that are green-averse, blend or chop up the greens in tiny pieces and add to spaghetti sauce, smoothies, cookies, and other foods that hide the flavors of the greens. As they become more accustomed to green specks in their food, your children may begin to lead the way in adding microgreens to every meal!
